Send a message to your Senators - thank them for their leadership and ask them to support a comprehensive plan from the Biden Administration to replace the services of the Snake River dams to move forward with removing the dams and restoring the river.

The Columbia and Snake Rivers were once the largest salmon-producing river system in the continental United States, but now many runs – and all of those that still return to the Snake River – face extinction today. Many populations have already been lost. Even in a warming world, Snake River salmon can be restored if and only if we restore a free-flowing river by breaching the four lower Snake River dams as quickly as possible. 

With the continued leadership of Northwest Senators, we must restore healthy and abundant salmon in the Columbia and Snake Rivers, provide a long-overdue measure of justice for Northwest Tribes, and ensure a successful transition to a strong and robust future in the Northwest that works for all.
